Silk Industries of Rajshahi district in Bangladesh is very popular from Mughal era in Indian sun-continent. However, with time being it became ignored and loosing its contribution from our economy. The current status is more or less unknown to economist and government authorities. However, this could be a great economic sector for developing countries like Bangladesh. I just tried to focus the current status and suggested some ways to make it more resourceful.
