The book presents the research on influence of the exchange rate on the trade balance in Ukraine over 2002 ? 2008. The work proposes a wide analysis and several criteria classification of previous literature. It also includes an overview of theoretical model proposed by Ross and Yellen (1989) which was used as basis for empirical testing. It allows using different model techniques from liner regression analysis till VAR models. Finally, the book discusses policy applications of the results.
