This work explores different aspects of intrinsic, extrinsic, general, and facet-specific job satisfaction with respect to different demographical variables. Review of related literature provides sufficient knowledge on job satisfaction meanings, definitions, concepts, measurements, theoretical frameworks, determinants and predictors of job satisfaction as well as a sound ground for the theoretical framework of this work,. The modified long form Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire 1967 with its Urdu translation was used as a research tool in this work. This work is also helpful in understanding the practical utilization of different statistical techniques: Mean, SD, t-test, ANOVA, and post hoc tests as well. The results put purposeful light on the new horizons of job satisfaction for every discipline of life, especially in the field of education. The recommendations for researchers open the doors for further researches in the field of job satisfaction. Hopefully, the social scientists, educationists, and policy makers may get advantage of this extensive work, and it would be equally significant for teachers, students, scholars, researchers, planner and managers.
