This book is a documentation on miniature and use of traditional arts in contemporary art. The starting point is to achieve a study on different ways of representation by considering the two basic features of miniature art, viz. reverse perspective and open composition. They might be a hint to capture another way of representation, which can imply a different way of seeing. After a theoretical survey on miniature, the finding is presence of a different way of seeing. Use of miniature in contemporary art creates problems because of its seeing regime. However, while there is the possibility of miniatures' not being understood in today's seeing regime, the failure on comprehension and seeing provides hybrid possibilities on artistic area.
