Every nation in the world developed in their mother tongue the ?masterpieces? of the folklore, especially proverbs and sayings. These concise pieces of wisdom, traditions, culture and history of every nation can be found throughout the whole world, because of the cultural trade and historical links of the people. The whole Book contains two Chapters. In the first chapter we analyze the general characteristics of proverbs and sayings. Each chapter consists of some additional points, i.e. in the first chapter we compare different definitions of proverbs and sayings, discuss the structural and semantic peculiarities of proverbs and sayings, and distinguish some principles of translation of the proverbs and sayings. In the second chapter we make a practical analysis on the English proverbs and sayings with negative evaluation of people. Chapter II also consists of two parts that are: Practical analysis of English Proverbs and Sayings with negative evaluation of people, and comparative practical analysis of proverbs and sayings which contain Elements of Negative Evaluation of People.
