In recent years, the issue of child participation in armed conflicts has captured the attention of the world. Cruel images of child soldiers are broadcasted around the globe in the hope to provoke an international strive against the growing numbers of children involved in and affected by conflict. Although the world is responding, the goal of bringing the involvement of children in or children being affected by war to an end is far from being reached. Especially when it comes to healing the wounds of war. The ultimate goal of this book is to work towards a possible strategy to reintegrate child soldiers into their former environment as part of their healing process.
