Efforts to understand the patterns of self-care strategies that are used by people living with HIV/AIDS are imperative in planning effective symptom management. While many people living with HIV/AIDS are experiencing longer lives, the unpredictable course and nature of the disease itself have continued to burden body functions and quality of life of people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWA). The Internet has become a new tool for collecting data in medical research projects and clinical practice. This book reports the results of a study examining types and predictors of self-care activities from web-based surveys and interview surveys with poeple living with HIV/AIDS.
