The current monograph "Post-Conflict Amnesty Polices of Goodluck Jonathan; History/Philosophy" is a contemporary reflection on the true character of Nigeria's politics as reflected in one of the heated topics in global politics, namely, terrorism. Instead of finding a way-forward and acquiring a lasting solution the the amnesty question in the country, the book sees between the deeper lines of colonialism, military rule, and the country's deadly civil war, etc, an emergent philosophy; an inflated oligarchy. In the book's contention, Nigeria's oligarchy has not only been the actual clog on the Jonathan's Amnesty project, for the most part, the constant reliance this philosophy on the pillars of regional agenda, such as, the Northern Agenda, the Igbo Agenda, or the Yoruba Agenda, etc, has been the reason why Nigeria can hardly resolve any of its national problem. From the position of this work, it would seem that two solutions are possible to the failure of the jonathan's amnesty project;- the President must do his best to overcome agenda of Nigeria's oligarchy or seek a higher solution in embracing Genune Dialogue with Separatist Groups in the country.
