Effect of Chemical Fertilizers on Okra Fahmid Shagufta

Okra is one of the most important summer vegetable crops. It is quite palatable and liked equally good by the poor and rich in the world. It brings remunerative income to the growers in Pakistan. Among the various agronomic practices influencing seed production of okra, nutrition is reported to exert a great influence on growth, yield and seed quality of okra. Chemical fertilizers play an important role to increase the growth and yield of Okra. Through this work, author tried to assess the effect of different doses of NPK on growth and seed yield of okra. This research will help the growers in increasing their knowledge as well as the production of okra.
