This book is helpful to agriculturalist, meteorologist and the end user i.e farmer. The experimental studies carried out to assess the impact of climate change on cotton plants shows, increase in the root height at higher temperature; however, shoot height, total height and biomass indicated decrease at higher temperature. Moreover prevailing weather conditions in the study region, the most appropriate crop for the region was determined by using Eco-Crop model, which can sustain the prevailing climatic conditions is cotton crop. It was also observed from reconnaissance survey that significantly (P<0.05) high percentage of farmers have experienced adverse effects to their other crop yield as a function of climate change and have forced them to change their cropping patterns, severity in diseases has also increased, which have forced them to use excess of insecticide and pesticides, inturn it has increased their investments and reduced their earning. Future researchers should carry out Crop specific studies using the Eco-Crop model to predict most robust crop in different region and help farmers to sustain livelihood as a farming profession.
