Dhaka has been known as the city of energy crisis because the supply of electricity is not able to meet the demand of electricity . On the other hand building industries flourishes both public and private sector for city dwellers. Building sector is one of the major consumers of energy in Dhaka. This book is about the integration of renewable technology: Building Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV), which is innovative and cost efficient building concept compared with conventional buildings. The exploration find out BIPV is a multifunctional technology which acts as both a building material and devices that generate electricity and also reducing the use of conventional fuel and electricity.
