Having in mind ancient civilizations it may be said that Mexico is a Meso-American country. As far as physical geography is concerned this is a North-American country. However at the same time it is the country of Latin America having in mind human geography. Geopolitically Mexico is also a North-American country. Mexico contributes very much to world economic integrations but having in mind its own problems, geographical position and the fact that its borders are non-ethnical. This country is a signatory to NAFTA (North-American Free Trade Agreement) as well as the U. S. A. and Canada. Except this, Mexico is the member of World Trade Organization (WTO), Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), it takes part in Asian-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), and it is also the member of The Caribbean Community (CARICOM). Mexico is also the member of G-20, G-15 and G8+5.
