Can chloride traces affect the natural gas processing industry? Answering such question is the main topic of this book. We have tried to monitor chloride species in addition to hydrogen sulfide and organosulfur compounds in natural gas at different gas processing steps. An Egyptian natural gas plant was chosen for such study. We have aimed to assess the efficiency of this gas plant according to several measurements of natural gas and associated fluids at separation, dehydration and sweetening processes. The precision of the analytical methods and measurements is so important for such type of study. The authors are members in Central Analytical Lab of Egyptian Petroleum Research Institute which of great experience in most of petroleum and gas analyses and measurements.
