The findings of this study revealed that conditional sentences need the basic presentation principles such as, context based exercises, information gap and problem solving activities. Form must not be more emphasized than use by teachers and the textbook. In addition, the textbook mostly should present conditional sentences at a context level generating sentences from the context. For instance, many of the exercises must be designed for genuine communication since the given exercises on the textbook are derived sentences from the context. And also deductive and prescriptive methods should not dominantly be presented by the textbook and teachers in the classroom.
