The book discusses different concepts such as: heritage and its values, and the concept of the management of cultural, plus the concept of cultural heritage and its development in. The thesis also considers the historical development and context of the whole of the Decapolis in order to highlight the importance of the region especially when not all the Decapolis are located in Jordan (which has the lion?s share of them). The thesis also explores archaeological investigation, excavation and conservation in Jordan. It proposes strategies for investigating heritage sites in Jordan with an emphasis on the use of non-invasive techniques rather than the invasive ones.
