The commonness of child labor is one of the most imperative problems confronting the world at large, especially developing countries such as India. There is no denying the fact that child labour is one of the most upsetting and harrowing issues of our age. Child labor is a major issue of apprehension while talking about child?s rights . Here I have attempted to draw attention to the various problems and experiences of children working in the conflict. In most of the cases children working in informal sectors necessitated by economic situation of child labour. It is generally considered that Poverty illiteracy, ignorance, low wages, unemployment, low standard of living and social life ?all are root grounds of child labour. I have chosen Aligarh Lock industry as my case study. The aim is to show first the factors responsible of child labour. I have also attempted to analyze implications of the government laws within the context of northern India. The book also highlighted the health hazards and working conditions of child labour in this area.
