The youth form the biggest category of the population in Uganda. Therefore controlling and protecting their behavior is very essential in the development of the nation. Moreover, protecting the cultures of the nation is also a pride to the nation. Therefore, much as it is important to interact and appreciate the benefits of western culture such as modern technology, modern education, Christianity and modern entertainment among others, the youths need to be guided due to the far reaching effect associated with western culture such high sexual promiscuity that has led to increased HIV infections, disrespect of the elders by the youths, pornography, night discos, theft and the impact of sexual networks via internet. This manuscript through its recommendation offers a guide to the various stakeholders involved in youth protection and human dignity to help redesign their strategies in order to cause a positive impact on the youth behavior and development. This is because the manuscript unveils both the negative and positive effects of western culture and compares it with traditional culture based on secondary and primary data from various stakeholders who form the basis of knowledge
