The characteristics of thermoluminescent materials including the sufficient and high sensitivity and also the high rate of precision; which are most important for radiation dosimetry. Other criteria which is dominant for this project is the fading parameter, which is, low in these kind of materials and would make them appropriate for this purpose. Therefore, it is essential to find a thermoluminescence material which has all the criteria needed specifically in fading rate. This book proposed a doped and un-doped flat fiber as an experimental sample for TL materials use for the optical fiber dosimeter and compare the result with the available type of dosimeter.
