Transnational or multinational companies are engines of development in many countries of the world especially in the third world countries. They ought to be the architects in the transfer of technology and employment to the youths in Asa and Ndoki counties of the Niger Delta Region, Eastern Nigeria. But the predicaments of these objectives are saddled on the activities of the eclectic class conflicts in the peripheral social formation of the communities in the Region. The political elites used it as an opportunity to detonate the youths from the means of fulfilling their ambitions and El-dorado. The surging youth population and unemployment posed a potential and serious security threats in the Region. The Region in recent times has witnessed proliferation of militancy and kidnapping.some were unfortunate to pay ransoms but still callously killed. The Governments and the multinational corporations should acknowledge the concept of sustainable development in the Region.
