Relapse: Etiology of Heroin Addiction Ahmed Mumtaz
Relapse: Etiology of Heroin Addiction
Ahmed Mumtaz
This is my little effort towards the understanding of 'relapse' in addiction, which is rather a 'disease' exploited by drug cartels. Addiction - has many names, many shapes and it?s been here since the beginning of humankind. Sometimes it has support of religion and faith healers. Today, we are fighting with chemical dependence on various substances including heroin. To me only few pills of pain killer or relaxant are no more an answer. A complete life-long rehabilitation plan supplemented by some drugs could prevent relapse, but the only answer to this epidemic is modified or engineered - DNA. I hope my observations will help you to further extend the topic.
