The works of Comte, Spencer, Durkheim, Marx and Weber and a number of more or less famous names has marked the freeing of he general theory of the society from philosophy, history, jurisprudence and theology into sociology. Numerous distinguished sociologists of the 19 th and 20 th century were lawyers by their basic university education, so that they built their views on the juristic thinking and legal logic, and the same time they were interweaving the interpretation of the whole society also with legal phenomena. This is thrue e. G. Of Marx and Weber and even of Durkheim, who was however a philosopher, but along with morals and religion paid great atention also to the law. So sociology of law was originating simultaneously with the origination of general sociology in the middle of the 19 th century and remained in its frame. It wa separated grom general sociology and besame an independent scientific discipline only later. When the general sociology was already etablished and got the status of an academic discipline. i. e. at the beginning of the 20 th century.
