Guide for Disabled International Students in the American Universities: Getting Accommodation, Housing, Aid and Services
Kawthar Khalaf Alhajjuj
I decided it was important to say something to disabled students to help support them, so I compiled most of the required information that they need to succeed in academic life in America, such as adjustments, aid & services, standard tests, getting accommodation, housing, admissions, assignments, and classroom accommodation. I believe that reading about the university environment before beginning an academic journey is better than arriving unprepared. Most disabled students are unaware that they have protected rights and privileges. This book highlights the importance of a guide for special needs includes awareness, guidance, and a list of laws and rights, which would enable students to take advantage of them.
