This book is the outcome of combination of MPhil and PhD thesis of the author. An in-depth analysis of agricultural problems of the state of West Bengal, India in terms of growth and growth decomposition has been presented in this book. The nature and problem of crop diversification in present days' scenario has been the prime focus of this book. Use of sophisticated statistical and econometric methodology is the pillar of this work. I hope that my work will satisfy the needs of academicians, researchers and policy makers of the state.
