Medical Library Services: a Study of Periodical Management and Services of Medical College Libraries in Nagpur City Niraj Khobragade

The research provides the information services offered by MCL should be at an advanced level with information packages in relevant areas. There is an increasing demand for processing of data and retrieval of information at the quickest possible time. Survey method has been use for conducting this research because the contemporary data pertaining to the dissertation is required and also survey method is appropriate for knowing the details about medical libraries, their periodical collection, services provided by them to the medical library users. Under the survey method, the data use is both of primary and secondary type. The primary data was collected using questionnaire technique some time using interview and observation technique. Two questionnaires are prepared, one for library and another for library users. Questionnaires were circulated to all seven medical College libraries in Nagpur City.
