Employees who are satisfied with their work may show a higher commitment to put efforts toward the achievement of the organizations? goals and will not easily change job. However, organizations face different problems such as employee turnover and absenteeism due to dissatisfaction with work from complaints on low salary, lack of supervisors support, limited promotion opportunity, and employees? lack of friendly and supportive colleagues. Therefore, the aim of the study was to investigate which factors affect the job satisfaction of South West Shoa Cooperative Promotion Office employees. Furthermore, factors which are considered important, but with limited scope for employees to accomplish also needs to be identified. Hence this study will be of utmost importance since it can throw some glimpses for improving the employees? job satisfaction.
