Snake charmer, who belongs to mixed race of Primitive-Austral and Mediterranean races, are going to be extinct by their habitual livelihood, and shifted to non-eco-friendly occupation, due to a variety of factors. This clan has some uniqueness in case of dialect, religious practice, cult, occupational contribution, nomadic life-style etc. From this standpoint the authors have attempted to extract the real scenario concerning the history of snake charmer community, causes and consequences of their occupational shift, importance and suggestions regarding the probable prospects of this deprived Indians. Till now as no such research has been taken up as to this regards, it is an effort towards contemporary thinking to allow geo-environmental acquaintance to walk along a newer horizon.
