Marasmiellus Stem Rot on Banana and Its Management Gunasingham Mikunthan

This research work was carried out in Department of Agricultural Biology, University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka, for the completion of special degree in the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture under the supervision of Prof G Mikunthan and Dr G Thirukkumaran during 2010-2011. This is a new work in the field of plant pathology and first time diagnosed and reported in Northern Sri Lanka and also not reported in Banana in many potential banana producing countries. I published this work on three peer refereed international journals as well as three international conferences and received appreciation from the research scholars and professors. Publication of this book through LAMBERT ACADEMIC PUBLISHING would be a valuable document for many researches who are working in the field of plant pathology and horticulture and as a guide for many undergraduate and post graduate students who are intending to carryout research in future.
