Our environment is changing rapidly: the information age means data is growing rapidly and reading devices should provide increased speed and better comprehension, mobility means powerful mobile devices are used by people wherever they go, these devices have small screens which are hard to read from. Reading devices such as Kindle© from Amazon are becoming commercially successful. RSVP is not widely adopted although it is suited for small devices and proven to increase 2-3 the reading speed while keeping comprehension. RSVP can easily run on many mobile devices. The motivation behind this research was to test whether introducing gestural control for RSVP reading would bring back to the readers the sense of control; Enabling comfortable RSVP reading can increase reading productivity significantly and it is also proven to help visual impaired children and adults reading.
