During the past decade, the banking sector has under gone rapid and striking policy changes on account of globalization, liberalization, diversification, increased competition due to entrance of more private (corporate) sector banks, downsizing, introduction of new technologies, etc. As a result of these changes, the employees seem to be vulnerable to stress and strain. Stress at work place can have many origins or at times, it may come just from a single factor.
