This book is about an assessment of body mass index (BMI), percentage of body fat and blood pressure among residential and non-residential school students of Chandigarh. The study revealed some interesting facts that how far residential and non-residential school students are alike and different in body mass index, percentage of body fat and blood pressure. For the purpose of the study a total of 200 students i.e., hundred residential and hundred non-residential school boys and girls were selected randomly. To compare residential and non-residential school students,?t?-test was applied and the level of significance chosen was set at 0.05. This book will be useful for research scholars, physical education professionals, teachers, health practitioners, fitness trainers and coaches for making physical fitness program, daily physical activity program and competitive training schedule according to need and capability of the school students.
