Implementing Continuous Assessment and Remedial Instruction: Problems and Prospects at Adigrat University Hailay Berihu

Our findings and conclusions led to the following recommendations pertaining to the continuous assessment and remedial instruction: Instructors need to use the results from CA as a means of identifying students? progress and thereby providing support accordingly, Concerned educators need to organize continuous awareness raising trainings not only on the CA implementation and provision of remedial instruction but also on methods of assessing, measuring, and evaluating student performance, Establishing an exam bank, which supplements the knowledge of the students who enter the universities is mandatory, Reviewing student attendance in connection with performance, and advising students about attending classes, making up classes missed, and getting additional help is also useful.
