Some locally available poultry feed ingredients in northern Ethiopia were analyzed for their nutrient content. The ingredients were used to formulate balanced broiler rations for the study. The study compared the difference in production performance and profitability of poultry meat production using completely commercial ration and locally formulated ration. Therefore, farmers, commercial poultry producers, researchers, and policy makers can be the potential beneficiaries of the output of this study. Farmers and commercial poultry producers can utilize the output for maximizing their profit. Researchers can use it for further studies.
