Films are not only an important form of culture but also a form of entertainment and education. In a country like Pakistan, where sources of entertainment are limited and people are labeled as extremists, films can be a very important source of entertainment and for conveying peaceful image of Pakistan. Films are the most strong source of communication. It spreads the message in an entertaining and powerful manner. It is the most useful and effective method of communication. The history of Pakistan film industry shows that 60's were the golden age, but the downfall of Film Industry started after this golden period. This Research aimed at exploring reasons and factors that are behind the demise of this entertainment-based industry of the country.
