An efficacious way of preventing food-borne human diseases is to monitor the microbiological quality food products during production, storage and distribution. Microbiological indices are most often used to assess food safety and quality. It may be employed to reflect the microbiological quality of food relative to product shelf life on their safety from food borne pathogens. The quality of food products is significantly affected by the properties of packaging materials as it is examined in seven films of different polymer composite (nano composites samples), which were experimented on packing of minced meat and studied its effect on the growth of different microbial flora.
