In regards to tourism in Nepal, both women and men play significant roles in welcoming tourists. To put it simple, women play significant roles in tourism industry all over the world. Preference of people to shift on tourism related activities shows change in occupational trends from one to another. On the other hand, it also can result in the change of livelihood strategy. People think that tourism related activities are more generation. Female guide has a good way of income generation by using their skills and knowledge. The role of female is not only limited within the household but changing the roles because of their diverse position. From the guide to the porter, female are serving in various tourism sector. In comparison to men, because of their good behavior and relationship with the tourists, guest and hotel owners they are establishing good relationship and leading their roles and proving themselves best among all. So with the opportunities challenges are highlighted. Therefore, female are also simply rising day by day in this profession of guide which is shifting the paradigm of Society?s view towards this ground.
