In the present scenario of Indian agriculture very few machines are available for sweet orange pesticide applications. With traditional method of spraying and due to the big canopy of the crop, there is uneven distribution of the spray which results in less production per unit area. Considering the facts, a air assisted sprayer for sweet orange was designed, developed and its performance was evaluated.
