In advent of county governments in Kenya, the author did a project study among workers at Nairobi City Council on their satisfaction in relation to service delivery to the residents of Nairobi. The aim was to establish whether recruitment, manner of handling workers and their salary levels influenced their performance. Guided by Arderfer?s ERG theoretical framework the study used simple random sampling techniques to gather primary data on water, social services and environment department of Nairobi City Council. The study found a significant correlation between service delivery and satisfaction therefore recommended fair recruitment, handling and good remunerations that would take good care of the family for the worker to be productive.
