The present work is undertaken with a view to harness nanotechnology ? as one of the most important Frontier sciences ? for development of pigment printing. Synthesis, characterization and application of ultrafine pigment particles form the base of such development. Synthesis involves miniaturization of pigment nanoparticles under a variety of conditions.
