This thesis was written under the guidance of Assistant Dean Mark R. Shulman and submitted in partial fufillment of the requirements for the Master of Laws in Comparative Law at Pace University School of Law. It explains the Islamic law that applies the Quran and Sunnah as a constitution, and the concept of Rahma. It will emphasize this concept by explaining the rigid law of Hudod, it explains each Hudd and how it applies. Then it elaborates on Rahma/clemency. It concludes by introducing the concept of CRF (Constructive Rehabilitative Forgiveness) which is using forgiveness as a rehabilitative tool.
