This research highlights the importance of studying the surface winds in the northern region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in terms of its natural and geographical features, provinces, sources, high and low air-pressure affecting them, their relationship to high-winds at the boundary layer and its climatic and environmental effects. This study laid the importance of fundamentalism to identify ways and methods of traditional weather and developed that must be followed in the examination of wind, in addition to important applications in many areas of environmental and agricultural engineering.
