Also, surface roughness is one of the key input parameter in the surface irrigation models which is often expressed in terms of Manning?s roughness coefficient, n. The objectives of this book were to estimate Manning?s n by hydrodynamic model for furrow irrigation, to investigate response of furrow infiltration parameters to roughness coefficient variations in furrows and to determine optimum roughness coefficient in irrigation furrows. Applied methods and findings of this study can be used by irrigation students, engineers and researchers.
