Anthropology is the holistic study of man as a physical and social being, in time and space. This definition says it all. Of all the disciplines that examine aspects of human existence and accomplishments, only Anthropology explores the entire panorama of the human experience from human origins to contemporary forms of culture and social life. Anthropology as a discipline looks at man as a member of a society and animal kingdom, the walk of a man from a cave man to civilized corporate businessman and many other aspects in their totality. Anthropology is a generalizing and comparative discipline with a concern for understanding human diversity on a global scale. Anthropology as a subject has reached new heights contributing to each and every sphere of life from our homes to our offices. Apple is a pomaceous fruit of the apple tree and is one of the most widely cultivated tree fruits. The tree originated from central Asia where its wild ancestor is still found today. There are more than 7,500 known cultivars of apples. These cultivars vary in their yield and the ultimate size of the tree, even when grown on the same rootstock.
