Groundwater, in general, is a high-value resource and especially important as a source of drinking water for many people. Groundwater has been known to be less polluted, but recent climate and land use changes threaten Groundwater quality. This applied research book focuses on describing and analyzing relationship between land use, hydrology, and geochemistry in a rural landscape in the Netherlands. There are three themes in the book. First, a Groundwater flow is simulated with a wide range of spatial data and software applications such as MODFLOW, PCRaster, Gstat, Python, and R. Factor Analysis was also performed in Python and R languages for the extraction of the major factors that influence Groundwater quality. Finally, the relationship between Groundwater flow and water quality was highlighted. This book is ideal for students, researchers, and policy makers who are looking for approaches in analyzing the nexus between Groundwater flow, Land use, and Groundwater quality.
