The Antibacterial activity of methanolic extracts from leaves of Clerodendrum viscosum vent using disc diffusion method. Standard antibiotic disc of kanamycin (30µg/disc) for bacterial species were used as standard. For Antidiabetic study in vivo model was utilized. The glucose level was determined in alloxan induced diabetic mice by administering methanolic extract of Clerodendrum viscosum vent. The Antidiarrhoeal activity of methanolic extract was investigated by castor oil induced diarrhoea in albino mice. The antioxidant potentiality of the methanolic extract of the leaves of Clerodendrum viscosum Vent was measured by using 1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) scavenging assay.
