College Students and Risk Sexual Behavior: the Case of Hawassa University

Acquaintance with the transmission modes of HIV/AIDS would make students recognize the prevention strategies they use in risk situations. Kaufman (2002) pointed out that an increased awareness about HIV/AIDS mode of transmission and prevention helps to bring about pleasant behavior that in turn avoids risk factors. Hence, the intention of this study was investigating risk sexual behavior of college students and pointing up intervention strategies.
