Now days, tourism is often considered as an agent for development. However, its development successfully and sustainably is highly depending on and influenced by different factors. This is due to the fact that tourism involves multifaceted interrelated factors and stakeholders. This book, therefore, discussed the challenges and opportunities for tourism development with respect to the following issues: community attitude and involvement, attractions, marketing and promotion, human resources development, micro-and small-scale tourism enterprises, quality and standardized of tourism services/products (hotel and related services and products, guiding services, souvenirs shops, interpretation services, tour operation services, transportation and related infrastructure), conflict of interest of stakeholders, cooperation and partnerships of stakeholders, peace and security, and the consumer behaviors of visitors. Hence, the analysis should indicate, and help to frame out, how should tourism developed and enhanced and should be a guideline for policy makers, practitioners, researchers, and anyone else who are interested in and concerned for tourism development.
