Artificial insemination(AI) has gained widespread acceptance in the dairy cattle industries of most developed countries and now-a-days also become popular in Bangladesh. But it has not yet received such universal acceptance in the goat breeding industries. The use of AI in small ruminants is very limited. Besides these, goat semen is different from that of other domestic species and the analytical report of fertility of semen along with semen evaluation of goat especially Black Bengal goat is very limited. This book focuses the fertility of fresh and frozen-thawed Black Bengal goat spermatozoa with comparison of all other semen characteristics. This research work will give an overview of goat semen evaluation, preservation and conception rate. Through this research, conservation of a native genetic resource is possible via semen cryopreservation as well as popularizes AI in the country. Academician, researchers may use this book as a guide to the present and future research.
