Performance measurement is a vital part of any successful organization. For many companies, the critical performance metrics determined based on their supply chain strategies. However, companies do not have a clear understanding of their adopted supply chain strategy and are incapable of introducing the most critical metrics for measuring their performance. This study determines the supply chain strategy adopted by ketchup companies in Malaysia; it also specifies the most critical factors for measuring companies? performance based on Balanced Scorecard (BSC) perspectives. The final part of the book covers the results of comparative performance measurement for six ketchup manufacturers; further it investigates the effect of companies? supply chain strategy alignment with product type as well as companies? process structure and manufacturing techniques alignment with product type on firms? performance. The study will be useful for companies' policymakers and professionals in the field of performance measurement systems or anyone else who may be considering aligning KPI and supply chain strategies in a manufacturing environment.
