Mrunal Phatak
Coronary heart disease (CHD) is a leading cause of morbidity & mortality in developed countries and is emerging as an epidemic in developing countries. Sedentary lifestyle is a important determinant of CHD. The present cross sectional study is an attempt to explore and compare CHD risk parameters like high sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), lipid profile and adiposity predictors in healthy sedentary subjects with long term exercising group of professional body builders. Also an attempt is made to find correlation of hs-CRP levels with lipid profile parameters and adiposity predictors.
