In a small Caribbean country like Dominica it is very difficult to promote entrepreneurial culture because the economy mostly thrives on imports. Having stayed and worked in Dominica I realized that the only way of becoming self reliant is to inculcate entrepreneurial culture in Dominica is through entrepreneurship education and training. This is being promoted by Dominica Youth Business Trust and my aim has been to showcase this. I have also suggested some sample projects that can be taken up by the budding entrepreneurs by optimizing local resources. It will benefit the budding entrepreneurs of Dominica and in turn boost the local economy in a big way. It is a hand book for those who want to take up entrepreneurship as business in Dominica by utilizing the local resources optimally. It will broaden their outlook and also benefit them economically.
